Pay: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour
Contract Type: Long-term (Temp to Perm Potential)
Reeson Education is looking for a nurturing and committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the M11 area from September. This Teaching Assistant role is full-time and long-term, with the potential to become permanent for the right person. The successful Teaching Assistant will be based in a vibrant Early Years setting, supporting young learners as they take their first steps in education.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Teaching Assistant (ideally Level 3) with a passion for EYFS and early child development.
Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support in EYFS as a Teaching Assistant
- Assist the class teacher with daily routines and learning objectives
- Deliver targeted support to small groups and individual pupils
- Create a safe, stimulating environment for early learners
- Work as a Teaching Assistant to promote positive behaviour and social development
- Support phonics, numeracy, and communication-based activities
- Track pupil progress and liaise with the class teacher and SENDCO
- Establish strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families
- Maintain high levels of safeguarding and pastoral care
- Contribute to the wider school community as a valued Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant - Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent preferred)
- Experience working in EYFS as a Teaching Assistant
- Knowledge of early learning goals and child development
- Positive, calm, and patient approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for helping young children thrive in the early years
- A valid Enhanced DBS (on the update service) or willingness to apply
