JOB DESCRIPTION

TAs (Teaching Assistants) work within a fantastic school in west London to start in September. There are full-time and part time positions running for the full academic year in the first instance. The school are looking for TAs who can working in a classroom seating and support pupils on a 1:1 basis as well as in small groups. The school are keen to look over CVs ASAP and meet interview TAs at the start of the term in September.

SCHOOL INFORMATION

Studying with the school is a unique experience. Not only do our students work towards GCSE or A Level qualifications, they also be learn all the hands-on skills needed to work in the broadcast and digital media industry - and all in our state-of-the-art surroundings in London. Students experience everything they need to kick start their media careers, from classroom and studio training to exposure with industry professionals via guest speakers, 1-2-1 mentoring and work experience. Their sixth form students leave the Academy with both a network of contacts and a personal portfolio of media projects

The Ideal TA

We are looking for bright, energetic individuals who either have experience working in secondary schools or who are educated to degree level and have an interest in working with children/young people. Having previous experience of working with pupils with existing medical conditions is highly desirable

  • Experience with medical conditions, and supporting pupils.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Emotional Intelligence
  • Experience in a Classroom, Social Care or Youth work setting
  • Good Literacy and Numeracy Skills
  • A Positive, Proactive, Professional, Friendly and Outgoing Personality
