Team Teach TA required for permanent post in Newham
Reeson Education have a vacancy for a Team Teach TA at a well-respected SEN School in East London working with a child with challenging behavior - aged 14.
Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, this fantastic School uses a range of innovative teaching methods to help their students with mild to severe learning difficulties to break down their barriers to learning.
The School has extensive grounds and the children partake in a varied curriculum with focus on social and communication development as well as core development in Literacy and Maths.
The role starts February and is full -time and permanent. They are seeking somebody who wants to fully commit and can fit in well with the staff team which is a mix of younger and older, male and female staff all with a good sense of humour and a genuine passion for supporting children with challenging behaviour and at-risk youth.
The position is initially 1-1 support although you may step into a more class based and group support role in the future. You must have a calm demeanour and resilient nature and experience of working with children with challenging behaviour and Special Needs is essential.
The School are looking for someone with training and experience using Team Teach behaviour techniques.
