Reeson Education have a vacancy for a teaching assistant at a well-respected pupil referral unit in East London working with children with challenging behavior - aged 7 - 16 years.
Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, this fantastic pupil referral unit uses a range of innovative teaching methods to help their students make the most of their educational experience.
The pupil referral unit has extensive grounds and the children are encouraged to do activities such as Football, Basketball and Gardening.
The role starts ASAP and is a full-time, permanent position with the possibility of career progression into a Behaviour and Inclusion Lead role.
The position will require group and class support as well as 1-1 support - you must have a calm demeanour and resilient nature and experience of working with children with challenging behaviour is essential and we would love to hear from you if you have training and experience using Team Teach techniques.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced SEND teaching assistant trained in Team Teach and who has worked with KS1, 2, 3 pr 4 children with challenging behaviour and special needs.
