Are you a Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time position starting September 2020 until April 2021 with the view to go permanent for the right person?
This Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistant role is a full-time position on a long-term temporary contract, working 5 days per week 8:30am - 16:00pm, term time only. Reeson Education are working in partnership with a 'Good' SEMH School to recruit an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant/ Support Worker to support on a 1-2-1, group and in pastoral.
The most recent OFSTED graded the school as 'Good'. At the SEMH School, they cater for KS2 - KS4 pupils ASD, ASC and with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs. The school aims to ensure that they give them the necessary support to improve their confidence, self-esteem and enable them to become successful learners in school and prepared for their future working lives.
The ideal Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistant candidate will have Team Teach Training and a minimum of 6 months experience working in an Alternative Provision environment or have worked extensively with learners with Behavioural and SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs).
We are looking for:
- Excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
- Confidence in dealing with challenging behaviour
- Experience with supporting in Alternative Provision
- Be able to confidently work as part of the team and independently
