A friendly and well-regarded primary school in Hounslow is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team from April.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident KS1 practitioner who can support pupils through the summer term, ensuring strong progress and a smooth transition into Year 3.
The Role
Full-time Year 2 class teacher
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum
Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Work collaboratively with year group colleagues and SLT
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has recent KS1 experience (Year 2 preferred)
Strong understanding of phonics and end-of-KS1 expectations
Excellent classroom and behaviour management
Passionate about supporting pupils' academic and personal development
