REESON Education are recruiting on behalf of a lively community Primary school located in the London Borough of Lambeth. The school is located in between the areas of Brixton and Clapham, and caters for a diverse local community.
The school are looking for an experienced KS2 (Year 3) Teacher to join the team as soon as possible on a fixed term contract basis until the end of the academic year in July. There is a strong potential for this contract to be extended for a second year, so the ideal candidate will be looking to develop their career within a single school.
The school's most recent OFSTED highlights how happy pupils are at school, and that standards of behaviour are good across all years.
This is a school that has been graded as 'Requires Improvement', with a particular focus on increasing academic attainment within English, Maths and Science. As such, the ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge and be able to use differentiation effectively to ensure that pupils of all abilities are challenged and able to reach their full potential.
Experience working within an Inner London School will be preferred, as there are a high percentage of pupils with English as a Second Language within the school.
