REESON Education are recruiting for an experienced Year 3 Teacher to work in an "Outstanding" 2 form entry South West London (Wandsworth) Primary School. The role will start on a fixed term basis for 1 term, with the likelihood of extension the following September for the successful candidate.
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum. You must be confident in your curriculum knowledge and be able to successfully differentiate lessons to suit pupils of varying ability levels.
Class sizes are on average between 27 and 30 pupils and the school has moderate levels of EAL and SEND. As such, the ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a similar, mixed ability, diverse school and therefore have the knowledge to support these pupils to achieve their full potential.
The school has a strong family ethos with supportive SLT and a young, dynamic team. Staff welfare is of the highest priority and the turnover at school is very low. This role has only become available due to an early maternity leave due to the current Covid-19 climate.
The ideal candidate for this Year 3 Teacher role will have a minimum of 1 year's experience teaching either Year 3 or KS1/KS2 within a UK school setting. Strong applications from Overseas trained teachers will also be considered. You must also be able to provide contact details for 2 Education referees as well as demonstrate a proven track record of success within your teaching career.
