We are seeking a passionate and experienced Year 6 Lead Teacher to join an Ofsted rated good school in Brent.
As Year 6 Lead Teacher, you will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality teaching and leading a team of teachers to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Year 6 teaching team, ensuring that teaching and learning is of the highest standard
- Develop and implement the Year 6 curriculum, ensuring that it is engaging, challenging and meets the needs of all students
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of students, ensuring that interventions are in place to support those who need additional help
- Work collaboratively with other members of the senior leadership team to ensure that the school is continually improving
- Support the professional development of teachers in the Year 6 team, providing coaching and mentoring as required
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience of teaching in Year 6
- Proven experience of leading a team of teachers and achieving outstanding results as a Year 6 Lead Teacher
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and the ability to develop engaging and challenging schemes of work as a Year 6 Lead Teacher
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills as a Year 6 Lead Teacher
- A commitment to the school's values and ethos as a Year 6 Lead Teacher
