REESON Education are recruiting on behalf of an OFSTED 'Outstanding' 2 form entry School in the London Borough of Barnet. The school are seeking a temporary Year 6 Teacher to join their team after the summer holidays for an initial time of 6 weeks. There may be the possibility of extension for a further 6 weeks until July for the right candidate.
The role will entail taking over a lovely, well behaved and well-achieving Year 6 class whilst the class teacher goes on maternity leave. The class consists of mixed ability students, with minimal SEN and behavioural challenges.
As a Year 6 Teacher, you must be confident in your knowledge of the UK National Curriculum as the children will be undertaking their SATs exams. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of Year 6 Teaching experience within the UK. However applications from strong, overseas trained teachers will also be considered.
This role would be perfect for an experienced Year 6 or Upper KS2 Teacher who enjoys a challenge and is looking for an interim role prior to the end of the academic year. The Leadership team at the school are fantastic, and should you wish to stay on there are often multiple opportunities at the school as well as within sister schools in the same federation.
