Year 6 Teacher - Primary School (Hammersmith)

A welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Hammersmith is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 6 Teacher to join their team from April.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident classroom practitioner who enjoys preparing pupils for the transition to secondary school and can create a calm, focused, and supportive learning environment during this important year.
The role:
Full responsibility for a Year 6 class
Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum
Supporting pupils through SATs with a balanced and positive approach
Working collaboratively with colleagues, leadership, and support staff
Maintaining strong relationships with pupils and parents
The school is looking for someone who:
Holds UK QTS
Has experience teaching in Upper KS2 (Year 6 experience desirable but not essential)
Is confident with assessment and tracking progress
Has strong behaviour management and high expectations for all learners
Is positive, proactive, and a real team player
