Year 6 Teacher Required - Hillingdon- January 2020

Are you looking for a Key Stage 2 Teacher role with Computing Lead at a 'Good' primary school in Hillingdon London?

The Governors of a lovely primary school in the Hillingdon area wish to appoint an experienced Class Teacher to start in September 2019. This exciting role will involve sharing the teaching of a Year 6 class alongside taking responsibility for Computing leadership across the school (Optional). The position comes with a competitive salary, in line with experience (MPS 1- UPS 3 Inner London plus TLR).

This Ofsted graded 'Good' with 'Outstanding' features school situated near Hayes station are looking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational teacher to join their team in January 2020. The headteacher is looking for an experienced Key Stage 2 teacher who is keen to deliver the school's challenging but highly inclusive curriculum to a Year 6 class alongside co-ordinating the delivery of the Computing curriculum across the school.

The responsibilities for this Year 6 Teacher with Computing Lead role (Optional) will include:
*Having overall leadership of the development and implementation of Computing throughout the school; ensuring that the highest standards of Computing learning and teaching are afforded to all.
*Undertaking class teaching responsibility for a Year 6 class
*Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils, as well as on their personal and social needs
*Creating a classroom where children work in a purposeful and stimulating environment that supports a wide range of learning styles
*Teaching a balanced Curriculum and to ensure that each child fulfills his or her potential by providing teaching and learning of a high standard.

The ideal candidate for this Year 6 Teacher with Computing Lead role will:
*Have experience of leading the Computing curriculum across a primary school, with recent experience of implementing Google Classroom, ScratchMaths and coordinating the usage of iPads across the primary setting
*Be experienced in preparing pupils for SATs examinations
*Have an excellent track record on raising pupil attainment in upper Key Stage 2
*Be an outstanding teacher with excellent subject knowledge
*Exhibit an 'above and beyond attitude
*Have very high expectations of the school's children
*Have excellent behaviour management skills
*Demonstrate outstanding organisational skills
