We are recruiting a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist PRU school in West Drayton, supporting students with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. This is a rewarding opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor who is confident, resilient, and passionate about helping young people succeed.
As a Behaviour Mentor in this West Drayton setting, you will work closely with students who require additional behavioural and emotional support, helping them regulate, engage, and progress in their education. A strong Behaviour Mentor will build trust, set boundaries, and act as a consistent positive presence.
The Role - Behaviour Mentor
Working as a Behaviour Mentor supporting students with SEMH and behavioural needs
Providing 1:1 and small group support across the school in West Drayton
Supporting students with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
Acting as a role model and consistent Behaviour Mentor presence
Working alongside teaching staff to support learning and engagement
Managing challenging behaviour in a calm, structured, and proactive way
Ideal Candidate - Behaviour Mentor
Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, or similar role
Experience working with SEMH, PRU, or challenging behaviour
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
Resilient, patient, and confident approach
Passion for supporting young people in West Drayton
