Behaviour Support Specialist

- GBP10.20-GBP12.70 p/h
Reeson Education are working closely with a Wandsworth based average sized, mainstream Primary School, who are currently looking to appoint a full-time behavioural support assistant, starting in September 2021 through to December 2021, with a view to continue in January 2021. From September, you will be working with a child within Key Stage 1 on a 1:1 basis within the classroom providing a tailored approach to the National Curriculum.
The Head Teacher is hoping to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic and confident behavioural support assistant who is an empathetic and resilient candidate with excellent behaviour management strategies. It is important that the candidate has the ability to build long lasting and secure relationships with the pupils whilst maintaining a professional relationship.
It is a necessity, if you wish to apply, that you have experience working in an education or care setting, supporting children or young adults with Autism, or associated behavioural needs. It is preferable that you have undergone professional development to support your experiences (courses such as; Autism Awareness and Team Teach) this is not a necessity as there will be opportunities to complete through our CPD training.
