About the Role
A well-resourced Lambeth primary school near Stockwell Station is seeking a resilient Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to work across KS2, supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour linked to emotional and social needs.
In this role, you will provide one-to-one and small-group support, help pupils develop emotional regulation strategies, and work closely with the pastoral team to maintain positive behaviour for learning. The school has a clear behaviour policy and strong leadership support.
The Ideal Candidate
The school hopes to appoint a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant who:
Has experience supporting SEMH or behaviour needs
Is confident using de-escalation strategies
Can remain calm, consistent, and solution-focused
Builds strong relationships with pupils and staff
Has experience in primary or child-focused settings
