REESON Education are working in partnership with an OFSTED "Outstanding" 2 form entry Primary school in the Kennington area of Lambeth. The school are looking to recruit a Level 2 Qualified BSL Teaching Assistant to join their SEN team ASAP on a long term contract basis until July.
The role will be working on a 1-1 basis with a KS2 pupil who uses a cochlea implant and has an EHCP. You will be responsible for offering support and encouragement with classroom task as well as breaktime supervision. Patience, understanding and an ability to quickly build a positive rapport will be essential for this role.
The plan requires the successful applicant to be Level 2 BSL qualified or above, and ideally have a minimum of 6 months experience supporting children or young adults with similar needs in an education setting.
The school are able to offer paid trial days ASAP for successful applicants. Daily rates of pay are also negotiable based on experience.
