Reeson Education is recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistants to work across primary schools in Waltham Forest on a flexible basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Teaching Assistant looking to gain hands-on classroom experience while building a strong foundation for a future career in education, psychology or SEN.
Schools across Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone and Chingford regularly request Graduate Teaching Assistants to support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, particularly children with SEN, learning gaps or emotional needs. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and SEN staff, gaining invaluable experience day to day.
What the Graduate Teaching Assistant Role Involves
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Supporting pupils with SEN including autism, ADHD and SEMH
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom routines
- Helping pupils build confidence, focus and independence
- Working flexibly across schools as a Graduate Teaching Assistant
