PRU Humanities Teacher

Reeson Education have an exciting opportunity to work in a successful PRU school who are currently recruiting for a Humanities/Citizenship Teacher to start in September 2019. The role will be a full-time, long-term role with an opportunities to be offered a permanent contract for the right person. Subject specialism is flexible for the right candidate and the school are open to NQTs.

You must:

  • Have QTS or a PGCE (NQTs welcome)
  • September 2019 Start!
  • Experience teaching: History, Citizenship, Geography, PSHE, Sociology or R.E.
  • Must have a desire and passion for teaching and working in a PRU and challenging environment

The PRU specialise in working with pupils who are excluded from mainstream education who are on the EHCP and have challenging behaviour with ADHD and SEMH. The school are looking for someone to work well in a team who has a strong commitment and have a child-centred approach. You will need to be fully qualified teacher (NQTs and overseas trained teachers will be considered) and able to provide two recent referees.

Science Teacher PRU

Reeson Education is currently looking for an experienced Science teacher to work in a challenging Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) delivering Science to SEMH pupils. The role starts in September 2019 and would be for the academic year and into next year at a daily rate between £150 and £210 per day.

The PRU specialise in working with pupils who are excluded from mainstream education with an EHCP with SEMH. Pupils are working towards GCSE's so an experienced Science teacher is essential.

  • This highly regarded PRU in Harrow are recruiting a Science teacher who would plan and deliver Science to KS3 and KS4 pupils.
  • We are looking for a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
  • Experience working with SEMH or PRU pupils is desired but not essential.
  • Adaptability is required as you will be dealing with small classes of challenging pupils.
  • The school is close to the tube and well connected to buses in the Harrow area

  • Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
