Your Role as a KS1 Teacher:
As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 national curriculum. The successful KS1 Teacher will foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel supported and challenged.
The KS1 Teacher will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Year 1 or Year 2
- Assess, track and monitor pupil progress
- Prepare pupils for phonics screening and end of KS1 expectations
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
This KS1 Teacher role would suit both experienced teachers and confident ECTs who are eager to develop within a supportive school.
We're Looking For in a KS1 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach
