A 'Good to Outstanding' school in Brent, North West London, is seeking a Key Stage 1 (KS1) Year 1 teacher to join their friendly and welcoming team from September 2020
This 2-form entry school is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic educator for their Year 1 class. This is a lovely school with excellent facilities and fantastic resources. Children are well-behaved and positive progress is maintained throughout the school. There is supportive planning across all year groups with stable KS1 staff providing an inclusive environment where all children are encouraged to reach their potential.
The school has received national recognition for the value it adds to its pupils' achievements in the Key 1 Stage tests. The school has qualified for an 'SAT Education Outcomes Award' by being in the top 20% of primary schools nationally for progress made by pupils between their key stage 1 tests, taken at age seven and their key stage two tests.
In order to be considered for this position, you must have the following;
- A B.Ed or PGCE with QTS (Overseas trained teachers with recognised qualifications and experience in similar teaching environments are invited to apply)
- Experience teaching in KS1
- An enthusiastic and creative teaching approach
- Two recent teaching references.
