Role Overview - KS2 Teacher
The successful KS2 Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. The KS2 Teacher will plan, assess and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring pupils make strong academic progress.
The KS2 Teacher will work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive learning environment where pupils feel supported and motivated. This role is ideal for a KS2 Teacher who values high standards, creativity and inclusive teaching practices.
Responsibilities of the KS2 Teacher
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons as a KS2 Teacher
- Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting pupils of all abilities, including those with additional needs
- Working collaboratively with staff and parents as a KS2 Teacher
Requirements for the KS2 Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching as a KS2 Teacher or within Key Stage 2
- Strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A proactive and passionate approach to teaching
