Reeson Education is actively seeking a dedicated Full-Time Learning Support Assistant to join a school in Battersea. This role involves providing crucial support to a child in Year 2 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to a child in Year 2 with ASD and behavioural needs.
- Implement and adapt Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to address specific needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure effective support.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, with essential experience in SEN.
- Understanding of the specific needs associated with ASD and behavioural challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and patience in supporting children with special educational needs.
