About the Role
A welcoming Tower Hamlets primary school near Stepney Green Station is recruiting a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work one-to-one with a Year 2 pupil with ASD and communication needs.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will help the child access learning through visual supports, structured routines, and emotional regulation strategies. You'll work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored support plans and encourage independence throughout the school day.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Learning Support Assistant who:
Has experience supporting children with ASD or additional needs
Is calm, patient, and consistent in their approach
Can support learning, transitions, and social interaction
Works well as part of a collaborative classroom team
Holds an Enhanced DBS (or is willing to apply)
