Pay: £95-£115 per day

The Opportunity
A forward-thinking primary school in Lambeth is seeking a proactive Learning Support Assistant to join their KS2 team after Easter.
This role is focused on supporting pupils who require additional academic guidance and structured pastoral support. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work across Year 4 and Year 5, providing a mix of small-group intervention and in-class assistance.
The school has clear behaviour systems in place and a strong emphasis on raising attainment, particularly in Maths and Reading.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering targeted booster sessions in Maths and Reading
Supporting pupils working below age-related expectations
Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and resources
Promoting positive behaviour and classroom engagement
Supporting pupils with mild learning difficulties and attention needs
The Ideal Candidate
The school is looking for a Learning Support Assistant who:
Has prior experience in a UK primary setting
Is confident supporting KS2 curriculum content
Can deliver small-group interventions independently
Maintains high expectations for behaviour and effort
Is reliable, organised, and professional
