REESON Education are looking for a Manager of information systems in a mixed comprehensive school with an Ofsted rating as "Outstanding". The successful manager of information systems will be supporting the assistant Vice principle and Vice Principle, whilst sharing responsibilities for all policies including decision making and strategic planning processes. This is a permanent and full time position. The successful candidate should be a highly experienced IT Technician or have experience as a prior head of management and information systems. The school is well-resourced and highly successful. The school's progress 8 score is well above average, and this over-subscribed school has several student applicant places, for every one offered. Ofsted observed that "The providers I visited were passionate about wanting to do their best for the students." There are a good range of suitable resources and well-cared for facilities which were appropriate for learning and social times." With 94% of students staying on for further education or go into employment. 52% of students get grade 5 or above in Math's and English. To maximise achievement of students through high quality:

■ Administration and organisation of all aspects of MIS in accordance with latest regulations, procedures and deadline laid down by external organisations such as DfE and Ofsted

■ Line management of Data, Attendance and Admissions, and Examinations

■ Target-setting, monitoring, analysis, evaluation and intervention data, including additional needs provision including access arrangements, social, emotional, behavioural, EAL and G&T data

■ Proactively facilitate the use of data by all staff

■ Ensure that all relevant external returns meet the deadlines set (including Census) To research and keep up to date with changes to MIS policy and practice
