Head of Maths Teacher required at a sought-after Independent school based in Richmond. This is a full-time post, commencing in September.
We are looking for an outstanding Maths Teacher who also has strong leadership skills and is confident in their ability to lead a large team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and successful classroom practitioner teacher who has previously worked as a Head of Mathematics in an Independent School. We are looking for someone with a track record of outstanding practice as a Maths Teacher, working across Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.
The ideal Maths Teacher will have raising attainment across all key stages at the forefront of their teaching philosophy. As Head of Maths the school will expect that you should already have the ability to create and lead a team of teachers, installing motivation and communicating good practice throughout the department.
The successful candidate will have:
- A recognised formal teaching qualification (B.Ed or PGCE)
- At least 3 years' experience in teaching Maths
- A team approach to teaching and learning.
- Previous Head of Department experience
- Experience within an Independent School
