The position of Pastoral Support Worker is based in a mixed comprehensive school, this "Outstanding" school is situated in West London. Ideally the perfect candidate will have experience as a Teaching assistant or as a Learning support assistant. Ofsted stated "You place a high importance on ensuring that this group of students achieve as well as possible. Providers are chosen because they have a strong focus on academic as well as pastoral success and a careful match is made to ensure that the individual needs of students are met". Pastoral Support Workers are responsible for the delivery of interventions relating to the welfare and pastoral care of students, ensuring such interventions are recorded, monitored and evaluated. They also provide administrative support to the Inclusion team in meeting the welfare and pastoral needs of students, home-school liaison and partnership links with support agencies. They co-ordinate all aspects of learning and the development of independent learners within a Year Group (s) in order to lay the foundations for a successful academic career in preparation for the future. They manage and investigate behaviour and pastoral incidents in depth and report to relevant senior members of staff. This is a long - term position with the opportunity of becoming permanent dependent on performance.

This is an Outstanding school based west London. The school has good academic results year in year out and teach IB at Sixth form.
