Premises Assistant needed ASAP at a Secondary School in South London.
This will be a full time, permanent Premises Assistant position.
The school is seeking a Premises Assistant to undertake responsibility for maintenance, security, as well as Health & Safety practices of the school.
This will include but may not be limited to the grounds, buildings, facilities and equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Liaising with external contractors, clearing litter, opening/closing the buildings and moving furniture will all be responsibilities with this Premises Assistant position.
Basic awareness of Health & Safety legislation, understanding of maintenance/repair requirements and using one's own initiative will all be essential requirements in order to be considered as a Premises Assistant.
Experience of working in a school and DIY knowledge will both be advantageous for this Premises Assistant role.
The rates of pay for this Premises Assistant post will be between £70 to £150 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The school opened in September 2018 and have yet to be fully inspected by Ofsted. The pre-opening Ofsted report has found that the school currently meets all the criteria of a well-run school.
As of September 2023, the school will be opening a brand new Sixth Form.
