Job Title: Year 4 Class Teacher

Our school in Merton is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 4 Class Teacher to join our team in September. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a class of 30 children, providing them with a high-quality education and nurturing their social and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge children to achieve their full potential
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where every child is valued and respected
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including attending staff meetings, school events, and participating in professional development opportunities
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 4
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a desire to improve teaching practice
- A passion for teaching and a belief in the potential of every child
