Are you an experienced and passionate primary teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism? Look no further! Reeson Education are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate teacher to join a small SEN School located in the vibrant city of West London. This is a full-time role starting Immediately.

Responsibilities of a Teacher Working with Autism:

As a primary teacher for the Key Stage 2 ASC class, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for children with autism. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Preparing and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet individual needs.
  • Supporting and promoting the social and emotional development of students.
  • Implementing personalised strategies to enhance communication and sensory integration.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to learning.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified primary teacher with experience working with children with autism.
  • In-depth knowledge of the national curriculum and strategies to support children with autism.
  • Ability to differentiate teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
