I am currently working with a PRU in West London who are looking for a qualified primary Teacher to join their team. This special school teaches pupils who are having problems in other schools which may be due to social and behavioural difficulties or students that struggle with a type of anxiety which stops them going to school. The aim of this role is to get as many pupils as possible ready to go back into a mainstream secondary school. This is a very rewarding role.

You will be a Primary Teacher and will be assisted by a full time behaviour mentor. You will be required to design and create exciting lessons for children from the ages of 7 - 11. You should be happy to work in a team and able to communicate effectively with parents. What you need to be successful To be successful teaching in a PRU, you must have strong behaviour management. You must also be empathetic and recognise ways in order to support children individually in different ways. You must also be a qualified Primary teacher preferably with teaching experience.
