The Role - SEMH Teacher

This school are looking for an SEMH Teacher to start on a full time contract starting November 2nd, after half term. You must be a fully qualified teacher that holds QTS or QTLS and has experience teaching in an alternative provision or SEN school. You will be required to teach a class of 6 pupils, aged 12-16 years, all who have SEMH needs and some students are also on the Autistic Spectrum. The Class has three full-time TA's who will be a great support and the use of a spacious classroom and private outside area.

The School - SEMH School

This SEMH school takes a theraputic approach to teaching their pupils who come from all different background but with the shared struggles of emotional and mental health needs. They currently have 189 students on role and provide individualised learning that aims to maximise impact on pupils' social, emotional, behavioural and learning outcomes. The School is hugely successful and headed up by a passionate and inspiring Head Teacher and supportive SLT team. The chosen Teacher will have freedom and autonomy over the class schedule, curriculum delivery and behaviour strategies as they see fit.
