Are you an experienced HLTA with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive SEN HLTA to join a welcoming primary school team in West London.
This role is based in an Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) - a specialist resource base attached to the school that provides targeted support to children with a range of SEN. You will work closely with the SEN team to deliver interventions, create inclusive learning opportunities, and help children achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with diverse SEN needs
Assist in planning and delivering engaging interventions and activities
Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
Support behaviour management and promote a positive learning environment
Help children develop confidence, communication, and social skills
Requirements:
HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience)
Strong experience supporting children with SEN
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting children's needs
