Reeson Education are currently looking for a SEN TA, for a full time role at a special needs school based in Brent. This role will be a late September start. The successful candidate will be working with a special needs school that focuses on supporting children with ASD and other complex needs. However, we are currently looking for a SEN TA to work within a class between the ages 5 -7, who has prior experience working with down syndrome and challenging behaviour. This role would be ideal for someone who is looking to expand their knowledge within the special need's education sector. This is a full time, long term position starting from September. Please be aware that this role may require personal care and manual handling and therefore prior experience with this is preferred. Additionally, prior experience with PECS is essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an Ofsted Outstanding special needs school which are ran by a fantastic Headteacher. They are an Ofsted rated Outstanding school and if successful you will be working with students at Key Stage 1.
As this position is based in a special school, it is essential that the successful candidate makes a smooth transition to integrate into the school, so as little disruption is made as possible for staff and pupils.
