A large infant school based in the Central East London area of Newham are looking to appoint aN EYFS/ KS1 SEN TA NVQL3 asap this Spring Term 2020.
The school are looking for the right person to work full time and to join their team asap. The role involves working with pupils in EYFS and KS1, particularly workin alongside the class teacher and working with pupils with ASD.

Role Information
For this position you will need to be an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who has worked with pupils in EYFS/KS1 and those with experience working with ASD is preferable.
You will be working in small classes alongside another experienced SEN TA and a specialist SEN Teacher. The children are lovely, very well behaved and enjoy school however you will need to be able to work under your own initiative, have emotional intelligence, be mindful of your tone of voice/choice of words and body language, have good concentration levels, the ability to multitask and bring energy and enthusiasm to the job.
The ideal candidate will have good ASD knowledge and some experience of PECS and Makaton but the key to the job is attitude and the school are very willing to train someone who shows passion and a willingness to get stuck in!
