SEN Teacher - KS4 ASD/SLD - Barking and Dagenham
We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified teacher to join this Outstanding SEN School in Barking and Dgaenham.

- Caters for students aged 2-19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).
- In addition, some students at this school may exhibit challenging behaviour, sensory impairments or physical disabilities.
- The school has excellent transport links and students and staff come from all over London.
- The class sizes are very manageable (6-8 pupils) as well as being well resourced in terms of both equipment and staffing ratios (2-3 TAs).

As an SEN Teacher, you would be..
- Planning and delivering lessons, differentiated to meet the individual needs of the children.
- Delivering a Curriculum aimed at providing an inclusive, supportive and challenging programme for children, encouraging thier speech, language and communication skills
- Teaching a range of subjects based on a primary model including Numeracy, Literacy, ICT, PSHE and PE at P levels 3-through to national curriculum Level 2A-2C.
- Knowledgeable on the needs of the children, this SEN school is looking for someone with experience in working with children with similar needs.
- Able to write reports, monitor progress and discuss with therapists, parents and senior leadership.
- Trained in SEN specific stratgies, such as PEC, Makaton, TEACCH and Team Teach
All applicants must hold QTS / QTLS or Overseas trained equivalent teaching qualification.
