SEN Teacher

An SEN Teacher is needed urgently in an all-girls school in South West London.

This SEN Teacher role will be full time, 08:30 to 16:30, Monday to Friday.

If appointed as an SEN Teacher, you will work within the new setting for girls with complex Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs as well as in the mainstream Learning Support Cluster.

You will work at the direction of the Head of Learning Support/SENCO and will be responsible for teaching students with EHCPs within the new resource base.

Some of the responsibilities for this SEN Teacher role will include but not be limited to; attendance at meetings with school staff to ensure the best support is being provided for pupils, create SEN support plans for students within the school and liaise with families/carers, as well as Clinical Psychologists, Education Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists etc.

A few of the skills that will either be essential or preferred for his SEN Teacher post will be the ability to work with a range of school teams, a proven record of supporting pupils with different SEN from KS3-KS5 and a proven record of supporting pupils to access public examinations.

The rates of pay for this SEN Teacher role will be dependent on experience and qualifications ranging from £120 to £260 a day.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you are a newly qualified SEN Teacher or experienced SEN Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained SEN Teacher or overseas trained SEN Teacher.

  • Right to work in the UK
  • UK QTS or overseas equivalent
  • Clear and updated Enhanced DBS
  • Experience of teaching as an SEN Teacher in UK schools
