Reeson Education are currently looking for an SEN Teacher to work in a Year 4 class, teaching students with Autism and speech language and communication needs. There are 4 students within the class and 2 Teaching Assistants supporting.
This outstanding school is looking for an SEN Teacher who can hit the ground running and are able to support them for the rest of the academic year. The SEN Teacher needs to be available full time with a knowledge of ASC. The school are happy to look at ECT's and experienced Teachers for this role.
The successful Special Needs Teacher candidate will be flexible, with the ability to use their own initiative where required. Experience working in an SEN school or with ASD children would be an advantageous but the school are clear that they want a good teacher first and foremost - excellent training is available. They would be more than happy to support an excellent practitioner with passion for SEN but limited SEN experience.
Progress with these pupils can be slow when compared to their contemporaries so patience, a caring nature, passion for the job and strong self belief will be essential.
