SEN Teacher

We are currently looking for a talented and experienced SEN Teacher to join our independent SEN School located in Chiswick, London. The successful candidate will be working with Key Stage 3 ASD students who are mostly non-verbal. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive environment, making a positive impact on the lives of our students.

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of stimulating and engaging lessons that are tailored to the needs of each individual student. You will work closely with support staff to ensure that our students receive the help and guidance they need to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities of an SEN Teacher include:

- Planning, delivering and evaluating engaging and effective lessons that are tailored to the needs of each individual student

- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of students with a range of special educational needs, including ASD

- Working collaboratively with support staff to ensure that all students receive the help and guidance they need to succeed

- Monitoring student progress and keeping accurate records

- Providing regular feedback to parents and carers

- Attending meetings and training sessions as required

The successful candidate will have experience of working with Key Stage 3 ASD students who are mostly non-verbal. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well as part of a team. You will also have a positive attitude towards teaching and learning, and a commitment to ensuring that every student succeeds.
