A school for children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties requires a talented Teacher to join their team from September.
The school is in Southwark, a stones through away from Borough underground station and is an all age school for children with PMLD and complex needs. For this reason, the post requires a Specialist Teacher (must have UK QTS) who is able to teach a creative and engaging curriculum to very vulnerable children at all ages.
The post is hands on and requires a talented Teacher who is naturally caring, able to work as part of a team and has a can-do attitude. The role is very involved and needs a Teacher who is prepared to plan and deliver engaging lessons and sensory learning.
The School team is wildly successful, having been commended for pupil progress and safeguarding standards in their recent Ofsted which was graded 'Outstanding'. Applicants will ideally have SEND experience, experience with PMLD, Low Functioning Autism, Down Syndrome and non-verbal will all be relevant experience for this School.
