We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified teacher to join this becautfiul SEN School in Islington.
The school caters for students aged 2-19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). In addition, some students at this school may exhibit challenging behaviour, sensory impairments or physical disabilities.

As an SEN Teacher, you would be planning and delivering lessons, differentiated to meet the individual needs of the children. The curriculum you would be delivering is aimed to provide an inclusive, supportive and challenging environment for the children and encourage them to actively participate in their learning. You would be teaching a range of subjects based on a primary model including Numeracy, Literacy, ICT, PSHE and PE at P levels 3-through to national curriculum Level 2A-2C.
Due to the needs of the children, this SEN school is looking for someone with experience in working with children with similar needs.
This SEN school trains all staff in Team Teach in order to manage behaviour and a number of communication aids including PECS and Makaton.
