SEN Teaching Assistant - Chiswick - Full-Time - Temp to Perm - February Start
We are looking for a caring, proactive, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school environment in Chiswick. This role involves working closely with pupils who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN
Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning activities
Support pupils with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, MLD, speech & language needs, or SEMH
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
Support pupils' communication, social skills, and emotional regulation
Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
SEN Teaching Assistant Atributes:
Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or care setting)
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
The ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils
Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
