An inclusive and welcoming primary school in Hillingdon is looking for a caring and committed Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP), supporting pupils with Autism and a range of additional needs.
About the Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with Autism (ASC) and complex needs
Assist the class teacher with daily activities and tailored learning plans
Support children with social, emotional, and communication development
Help manage behaviour in a calm, consistent, and supportive manner
Work closely with the SEN team, external specialists, and parents
Ideal Candidate:
Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly Autism and/or SEMH needs
Patient, empathetic, and nurturing with a positive, can-do attitude
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a supportive, collaborative team
Passion for inclusive education and making a meaningful difference
