We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Teaching Assistant to support children with complex medical needs between the ages of 5 - 16 years old. We are searching for someone who is familiar with personal care or happy to support with personal care if required. They are looking for a committed and driven full time Teaching Assistant, that can start immediately.
This school has less then 100 staff. They are a friendly and supportive team and happy to give the relevant training wherever needed. Each classroom has approximately 8 - 10 students within a class and 3/4 TA's supporting.
What will be your role within the classroom?
- Working closely with parents and reporting back on pupils' progress
- Preparing the classroom ready for the school day
- Working with children on a 1:1 basis as well as in small groups
- Providing personal care
- Observing children's behaviour
