Starting immediately, this full-time role offers the chance to work closely with primary phase students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:
In this rewarding role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have a pivotal role in nurturing the educational and emotional development of ASC students within the primary phase. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing individualised education plans and tailored interventions to support student progress.
- Assisting students during classroom activities, promoting engagement, and fostering a love for learning.
- Building strong and positive relationships with students, creating a warm and inclusive environment.
- Collaborating with teachers and professionals to develop and deliver personalised support strategies.
- Prioritising the social and emotional well-being of ASC students, ensuring their holistic growth.

What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within a primary phase or supporting ASC students.
- Deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by students with Autism Spectrum Condition.
- Patient and empathetic approach, providing individualised support and motivation to students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong connections with students and colleagues.
- Genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and a commitment to their overall development.
- Knowledge of effective strategies and interventions for assisting ASC students.
