An affluent mainstream primary school based a short walk from Shepherd's Bush Market station are currently looking for a part time Teaching Assistant. The Teaching Assistant will be in the Nursery classroom, supporting a child on a 1:1 basis. This primary school offers a caring and friendly learning community, offering on the job training and the option to attend training sessions outside the classroom.
The successful Teaching Assistant will be required to:
- Work within the Early year's curriculum, assisting the classroom Teacher.
- Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
- Assist with personal care such as changing and toileting.
- Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
About the role:
- Early Years Teaching Assistant
- Part time - mornings only (8:30am - 12pm)
- ASAP start, ongoing contract until July 24 minimum
- £45 - £60 per day
- Shepherds Bush, Hammersmith and Fulham
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering student growth.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
