A Teaching Assistant is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School in South East London.
This Teaching Assistant position will be full time and permanent.
Attending to pupils Social, Emotional & Mental Health and physical needs will be key responsibilities with this Teaching Assistant role.
If appointed as a Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to support pupils in class, on a 1:1 basis and occasionally covering entire classes if necessary.
Experience of supporting children/young people with Autism, Dyslexia and Dyscalculia will be advantageous for this Teaching Assistant role.
The rates of pay for this Teaching Assistant position will be between £72 to £110 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The School
A Mixed Secondary School for pupils aged 11 to 16, rated 'Good' by Ofsted.
BTECs and GCSEs are both available for pupils to study.
The Music & Drama Department occasionally organises performances to take place at the Royal Opera House and also has connections to Peckham Shed.
Sports also holds a strong reputation, with many students also belonging to local sports teams.
Requirements
You are encouraged to apply if you are a recent Graduate or experienced Teaching Assistant.

- Right to work in the UK
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant in UK schools
