Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (with additional medical responsibilities)
REQUIRED FROM OCTOBER/NOVEMBER 2021
Full Time: 30 hours per week - Term Time Only - 1 year temporary contract (with the desire for this to be extended)
£65-90 per day long term through the agency with the view to go permanent at Scale 3 £23,427 - £23,849 pro rata for the right candidate
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join their friendly team and support the strong ethos of the school.
We need someone who can work alongside teachers, and children, to support teaching and learning in the classroom. The School aim to make learning a positive and happy experience for everyone.
This role would suit someone who wishes to work as part of a team of adults including teachers and other support staff, to promote the learning and wellbeing of all children.
You must have good communication skills. You must also have a minimum of 5 GCSE's (A-C) including Maths and English and 3 A levels (desirable).
The successful candidate must be flexible and hardworking. Experience of working with children with special educational needs is essential. You will be required to be trained and undertake First Aid responsibilities in the school, including the administering of medication or medical procedures for specific children.
