A Brent based Primary School is currently looking to recruit a full time Learning Support Assistant (LSA/ SEN TA) to support pupils with special educational needs within an EYFS setting.
They are specifically looking for someone who has previous experience of working with children with Autism. This Teaching Assistant position will require you on a full time basis at least until the end of the academic year.
This Ofsted 'Good' school caters for around 600 pupils and they pride themselves in being a happy harmonious community, in which all pupils are valued and learn well. They have a large and diverse multicultural community of staff, pupils, parent and carers who work together. The school has well-planned, balanced curricular and extra-curricular programs for pupils at all levels to ensure that they make good progress and enjoy learning.
To be successful in this EYFS / Nursery Teaching Assistant role you will need to:
*Have a NVQ3 for Teaching Assistants or a university degree
*Have previous experience working with children in a school or nursery setting
*Have experience working with Special educational needs
