About the Role
A Lambeth primary school is recruiting a Pastoral Teaching Assistant to support a small group of Year 6 pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support to remain engaged in learning.
In this Pastoral Teaching Assistant role, you will work both in and out of the classroom, helping pupils regulate emotions, develop positive behaviours, and prepare for the transition to secondary school. The role is highly supportive and works closely with the school's pastoral and safeguarding team.

The school would like a Pastoral Teaching Assistant who:
Has experience supporting pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs
Is calm, resilient, and consistent
Can build strong, trusting relationships with older pupils
Understands the importance of boundaries and routines
